Miramax has announced they will be bringing the comedy, Adventureland, from Superbad director Greg Matolla starring Jesse Eisenberg (The Squid and the Whale), Kristen Stewart (Twilight), Martin Starr (Knocked Up), Bill Hader (Tropic Thunder), Kristen Wiig (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Ryan Reynolds (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) to Blu-ray Disc day-and-date with the DVD release on August 25, 2009.
Adventureland will be released with a 1.85:1 high definition encoding, English Dolby TrueHD (48kHz/24-bit) and French Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks with French and Spanish subtitles.
Exclusive Blu-ray bonus features will include:
- Frigo’s Ball Tap – The “drive by,” the “ambush,” the “stranger,” the “tying of the shoe” and the knee-buckling, tear-inducing “Bangkok” are just a few of the nad numbing moves demonstrated by the testicle tapping guru himself, Matt Bush.

The Blu-ray Disc will come in a two-disc set featuring the high definition Blu-ray plus a digital copy and suggested retail prices for the release will be $29.99 for the One-Disc disc DVD, $39.99 for the Two-Disc DVD and $44.99 for Two-Disc Blu-ray Disc including digital copy, respectively.
