Big Screen Entertainment Group has announced the formation of its domestic DVD and Blu-ray label and an exclusive distribution partnership with retail sales and marketing division Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA). ADA sells music and DVD releases from third-party record and video labels, such as Epitaph, SubPop, Ultra, Tommy Boy, Severin Films, Liberation Entertainment, David Lynch MC and Blue Underground.
Big Screen Entertainment Group CEO, Kimberly Kates, Stated, “We’re thrilled to be branding our own U.S. DVD/Blu-Ray label through ADA. We plan on distributing six titles by the second quarter of 2010 through the ADA pipeline with many more titles to follow.”
The first domestic release set for the newly formed Big Screen DVD and Blu-Ray label will be the award winning and internationally acclaimed horror/thriller, Babysitter Wanted in April 2010 Co-directed by BSEG Senior VP, Michael Manasseri, starring Matt Dallas, Sarah Thompson and Bill Moseley.
Set to follow are the French vampire/film noir, Sodium Babies, Rule of Three, action film Target Practice and Nina & the Mystery of the Secret Room.

Kates also added that the label hopes to have “an additional 18 titles to release by 3rd Q 2010,” but she did not mention any specifics as to which titles may be released.
