New TheaterByte Features — Pop-Up Windows with Metadata

Hello readers of TheaterByte. We have officially launched some new features on the site that we hope will make things easier for our faithful readership. Will will be slowly but surely retroactively converting all of our older reviews to this new format as well, so stay tuned.

As you may have noticed, we now have a new “pop-up window” on thumbnails and cover art (or, in the case of hardware reviews, glamour shots, etc.) that feature the metadata or specifications for products (i.e. A/V codecs and resolutions, studio, actors, directors, overall rating).

All users have to do is mouse-over the cover art or thumbnails to view it. For mobile OS users (I OS, Android, etc.), the information will still be viewable as a bullet list at the bottom of an article.

Love, hate it, needs improvement, or couldn’t care less? Let us know by dropping us a line through our contact form.
