Mitsubishi is in New York City this week showing off their latest and greatest in TV tech and one of those units happens to be the company’s largest laser-based DLP model to date, the L75-A91 LaserVue TV. The 3D-ready television measures in at a whopping 75″, perfect for immersive 3D viewing. It doesn’t disappoint either. TheaterByte was given a demo of the L75-A91 and it played the best 3D image this side of an actual theatre we’ve seen so far. There was no noticeable ghosting or crosstalk in the image, viewing angles were enormous — we had to walk practically flat with the display to lose any imaging — and the 3D synching with the glasses played nice.
The 2010 LaserVue L75-A91 model includes 3D-ready technology, StreamTV Internet Media, True120Hz, Energy Star 4.0 Qualified, Clear Contrast Panel, Plush 1080p® 5G 12-bit Digital Video Processing, 6-Color Processor™, 4 HDMI, Deep Color™ and x.v.Color™, Easy Connect™, USB media input, wired IR input, EdgeEnhance™, DeepField Imager™ and advanced video calibration. The unit will sell at a suggested retail price of $5,999.
