S2BN Entertainment and Universal Music Group have announced today that they will be bringing The Rolling Stones: The Biggest Bang concert video to Blu-ray Disc on June 16, 2009. With over 3 hours of high-definition video and uncompressed digital 5.1 surround sound, The Biggest Bang on Blu-ray Disc features more than 30 songs and footage from around the world, including the Stones’ concert in Austin, Texas and an exclusive look at the Salt of The Earth Tour documentary including highlights from Argentina, Japan and the band’s first ever concert in China.
The Blu-ray Disc will come with LPCM 2.0 and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless sound, a 1080i 1.78:1 high definition transfer and English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese subtitles.
