After the big push of Blu-ray releases for the holiday season, we close out the year with no more than a whimper, seeing only few releases this week to close out 2009.
Topping the list this week is the CG-animated fantasy starring everyone’s favourite Frodo, Elijah Wood, in 9 (not to be confused with Nine, the musical version of 8 1/2) from director Shane Acker.
Second up is the indie, point-of-view, chiller in the vein of Cloverfield or The Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity, from Paramount.
And everyone wants a piece of geek goddess Megan Fox in Jennifer’s Body, in this two-disc set with digital copy from 20th Century Fox.
Lastly, The Marine 2 makes a showing on Blu-ray this week, also from 20th Century Fox.
